With pen in hand, Zaineb loves to tackle issues dealing with growing up as a Muslim in the West with humorous cartoons, personal insight guided by the wisdom of Prophet Muhammed (sallalahu alaihi walaalihi wasalam) and his progeny (alaihi al salam).

As a young mother of three, Zaineb is very active in her spare time through writing and illustrating books, presenting talks to young Muslims and teaching at a local Saturday school in Calgary.. all the while maintaining an element of fun and wonder in everything she does. When asked to describe herself in sentence, she says: “My heart is Iraqi, my brain is British, my soul is Muslim but my accent isn’t Calgarian just yet!
